Blood Car

Check out the website for this amazing looking low budget horror/comedy. It seems to be doing really well on the festival circuit, and reviews so far don't look too bad, either, but the real seller on this one is the trailer. It looks like absolute campy fun that I love in my movies. I can't wait for this one.

Mr Picassohead

Mr Picassohead is a very cool flash site that gives you a huge range of Picasso inspired art images, allowing you to arrange them into your own Picasso-style work. I haven't had the chance to play with it to much, but it looks like the site has a fairly robust range of options.

Yoder's Canned Bacon

We've had several bacon related posts on the blog, but we're always happy to have another. Here you can find bacon in a can, in case you're camping with no fire or trying to outlast some nuclear fallout. "Fully Cooked, Ready to Eat, 12 Cans per case, 40 to 50 slices per can." I wouldn't mind giving it a try, but on this site you can only get it by the case, and I worry that 12 cans may be too many.

Particle Zoo

Want to get your kid started on the path to nerd-dom early? Get them some stuffed plush toys based on subatomic particles. Om Nom Nom Nom

Ever wonder how many people in the US shared your name? With this site its easy to find out, it uses the current census data to date. I found out there are 3 others with my name in the US. I'm going to have to murder 2 of them, for they are stealing my essence. How many are there for you?

Audiobytes for Autobots

This is the site where Dashiell Driscoll releases his mashup albums. His second effort, 2.0, was just put out in April, and it;s a really fun listen. The albums are free, partly because all of the music is fully sample-based and partly because Driscoll is a hobbyist who just wants people to enjoy the work. Definitely give him a listen. This is one of the few sites on the net that can make me feel happy, sad, and angry all at once. It's a blog written in first-person (first-cat?) perspective. It covers the daily affairs and challenges chase has to overcome.
