Slaughter Your World Video

Here is an animated villain singing about how much he loves to kill. It's set to one of the tunes from Disney's The Little Mermaid. You'll recognize the one. Only it's about delight in wreaking havoc. It's well executed and seems like a preview for something larger, which makes this even more awesome. Thanks to Dave for the link.

Paleo Future

This is a blog about what people from past generations thought the future would be like. It caught my eye when I came across scans of some postcards featuring French visions of the year 2000 from way back in 1910. How cool! There seems to be a lot of other material from all kinds of time periods. I'll be checking it out thoroughly.

Santasm

It's still early in the holiday season, but that doesn't mean that it's too early to be deeply disturbed by something vaguely Christmas themed. I'm not sure what the point is, but surely something more must be coming. It's just a long 1-shot video, and words don't do it justice. Watch for yourself. Then decide whether to laugh or cry. 5ON

Here's a great animated web series called 5ON. The premise is they interview 5 of something about a specific subject. For example, they interview 5 aliens about the finale of the Sopranos. Then they interview 5 robots about immigration. After that, demons on the environment, and so on. It's a really funny, well made show. Thanks to Zensho for the link.

Barfy the Pig

Here are some short animations about a pig that barfs. That's pretty much it. You can see him barf when threatened by a ninja, go through an ordeal involving a hole in the ground, and take a nasty spill. Thanks to Bryan for the heads up on this one.

Bullet Proof Baby

Here's an amazing site. It sells gear for babies, but not normal things like booties and onesies, more like tasers, riot helmets, and bullet-proof strollers. Of course, it's not serious, it's part of a viral marketing campaign, but that doesn't make it any less cool.

The Pilgrimage

Hey, it's some free music! This mixtape comes from The Gray Kid (who brought you PaxilBack a while ago) and DJ Mister Best. You'll probably hear some familiar beats, but the vocals are new. Download it and give it a listen. I like it quite a bit. Even if you hate it, it's free so you can just delete it.

Game game

Here is an interesting flash game that seems to have a lot going on. I just played through it quickly so I didn't get all of the detail that is seems to contain, but I'm sure the things that pop up have some sort of meaning. I just liked the style.

Literally, a web log

One of my biggest pet peeves involves the misuse of the word literally. This blog chronicles different instances of the word being used in just terrible ways. It includes the examples as well as what the statement actually means if you take the word literally as it should be taken. Brilliant

3D Mailbox

I've often wished there were more 3D graphics associated with my email. Especially if boobs were involved. Checking my email quickly and in a text-based format is so over-rated! Check out this video trailer for this new email software.

Chuck Norris Action Jeans

Here's an amazing ad for some jeans developed special so Chuck Norris could kick ass in style. This one has been around for a while, but it's still awesome. I would definitely buy a pair of these if I knew how to roundhouse kick. What a badass!

Mappy Hour

There's a lot of mashups with google maps but this one may quickly become one of my favorites. It's a site that uses the mapping technology to display local bars, and in many cases specials they happen to be running and when they run them. For someone that doesn't mind going out to have a drink once in a while, this could work out really well.

Great Shadow Puppetry Video

Here's a video of a man making some pretty sweet shadow puppets. He must have sold his soul to the devil or strategically broken every finger in each hand. He does a credible face, a duck, a rabbit, and more. Someone has seriously spent some time honing their craft.

Bat in the Sun Productions

Here are some really dedicated Batman fans. They are dedicated to the point where they make Batman fan films. Unlike many fan films, however, these are really good. The production value is amazing. It's nice to see a few people who are passionate about a project come together and do it justice. My favorite part are the facial prosthetics used for the Joker. Minesweeper The Movie

Here's a trailer made by the guys over at collegehumor.com for Minesweeper: The Movie. It's an excellent adaptation of the classic game, and looks more fun than most actual movies licensed from video game titles. Of course, it's only 3 mins long and the guys in it aren't taking is seriously, but still, it'd good.

World Clock

Here is a world clock that keeps some amazing statistics. Of course, the time is there, but it also keeps track of births and deaths, oil consumption, diseases of all kinds, injuries, and the number of extinct species. There's lots more to see, so check it out pronto.

Here's a site that will let your dog get his own small revenge on Michael Vick, who's being indicted on charges related to dogfighting. Only $10.99 will get you your own little rubbery statue. This business got started FAST!

Princeton Voodoo

Here's a site that you can go to if you need to purchase an actual voodoo spell. How great is that? Services include spells that will help you with love, money, and hex removal. Plus, if you get bored with reading things there are a plethora of animated GIFs that should hold your attention.

The Pearce Sisters

It looks like Aardman had made another really cool short. You can't see the whole thing here, but you can definitely get an idea of the visual style through this lenghty preview. It seems to be a departure from the stop-motion that made them so popular (Wallace and Gromit, Creature Comforts, ect.) but it has a cool style all it's own.

Bloxorz

Here's another super-addictive flash game. This one has you rolling a block around a board in attempt to get it into it's socket. There are switches and disappearing blocks, and you can fall off the edge if you're not careful. Thanks to Dave for this one.

Kanye West - Zack Galifianakis

Here is the video that Zack Galifianakis did for a Kanye West song. Even better, it seems to be endorsed by Kanye. The fact that the two guys never break character during the clip makes it all the better. I love this and can't stop watching it. God bless you both Kanye W. and Zack G.

Blood Puddle Pillows

Here an amazing project. It's pillows that look like blood spatters. You can catch some Z's and be sure that the first person to stumble your way will wake you up very quickly. Sort of like a roommate-based alarm clock. What a creative idea! Maybe I should start using it at work.

Pig launch

Here's an amazing photo series detailing the launching of a pig into the upper atmosphere, by, I believe, the russians. There's a little bit of pre-partying, I guess to help the little oinker calm down, and it seems to be alive in the final pictures, so I guess it has a happy ending. The pictures are amazing.
